Oh, my goodness. If you looked at my gallery you would see VERY LITTLE Highland Heather or Gorgeous Grape ...or Beautiful Bouquet for that matter. ... But the dessert for the Gorgeous Grape + Highland Heather + Pear Pizzazz combination called for spring or Easter so I needed tulips.
Anyway, when I was looking at the Stampin' Up! clearance rack the other day I realized that they Stitched Seasons framelits were on there. These were available for a very short time last year but they work for a technique that really works best with layering shapes. The Designer paper is cut out with the framelit and then run through the Big Shot again with an embossing folder and then sanded. The folder and the pattern in the paper both play a role so you never really know what it will look like until you try it. I have done a few in the past with the long retired Apothecary Labels.
It was fun to try this again AND to become a little more familiar with the new purple shades.
