I like to use glossy paper with dye inks when doing the acrylic block backgrounds. Today I inked a 3 inch acrylic block with a Kaleidacolor Bouquet rainbow pad. I spritzed this fairly heavily with water as I wanted the colors to ooze and blend a bit. I also decided to turn my block on an angle for a change of pace. I stamped my sentiment into the bg and Zeke guy on some scrap stock - partially colored with prismacolor pencils and paper pieced the denim jeans & Jacket then fussy cut. I framed this with some lemon-lime cardstock but wanted to keep this pretty CAS since the guy this is intended for tends to like things clean & simple.

Such a great guy card, Linda with this fabulous Unity stamp! Your Stamped Acrylic Block bg looks beautiful, love the colours. I usually like to use glossy card for this technique, too~

Glossy, hmm. It's not easy to come by here so I'll probably be too frugal to try, but it sure does give a great result. It's fun offsetting the square like that.
