I made a mix of both
I scored the pattern and sponged over with my favorite wax crayons, tissue and white spirit.
I glued lace all around this square, cut a grey square and rounded 2 sides with a punch, the same for the white base and for the sentiment tag, I die cut the little dancer and made a lace bow.

Very creative, Anita, and you did a great job with all the scoring. Plus, you have a pretty ballerina and all the delicate lace. I am glad you gave the definiton of snurk.....it all makes more sense. I should have looked up the translation and probably would have yet.

Wowza ... I immediately knew where you found your inspiration ... the lace frame is brilliant and I love your cool emboss resist technique ... awesome inspired card.
Anita, thanks for sharing what Snurk means! I wondered every time I looked at the sight! Cute. Great branding! Your card is beautiful! Such a fabulous background and pretty dancer!
