This card is for the Misti Monday and also the Alpha challenge. B is for butterfly and birthday card.
I had been playing with a new SU die set and decided to use the negative space ad a stencil for this card. I sponged various colours through the stencil. Stamped and die cut the butterflies. Twine added and done.
I loved these challenges and will use this technique again.
Tfl. Happy day

Wow, those colors look fabulous for a sponging technique. I have a hard time getting deep rich colors on mine. Maybe, I don't sponge enough? Your card looks fantastic. Those colorful flying background butterflies are fleeting by without a care in the world. Spectacular.

Now aren't you one smart card maker? This is a great idea...I've tried it with a leaf before...ha, it was really tiny! Butterflies make me think of my mother, and blue was her favorite color.

What a lovely card this is. Your sponging through the die cut stencil is beautifully done and adds depth and dimension to your card and friends for your die cut butterflies too! ~Karen.

The colors you used to sponge through the butterfly die cut negative space is lovely and beautifully contrasted with the black and white stamped ones. Wonderful design and lovely card!
