The fold I used is a Jennifer McGuire tutorial called Surprise Window Card. There is a YouTube video that you can check out. This is basically a tri-fold card, using two card bases. The 'surprise' is that there is more than meets the eye when you open the first fold. Check out Prim and Proper part 2 for the first joke. There will be a part 3 (when I finish it) with even more of a joke. I wanted the front to look very Victorian, elegant, clean. Not so prim and proper inside and might be even less prim and proper in part 3. Stay tuned! I might not reveal until it is sent to my partner.

What a fascinating fold. I'll check it out. It looks as if it might be a little easier than the peekaboo one, which I think is fun but a clumsy construction. Very classy and elegant with the iron railings and textured gold frame. It's making me think of My Fair Lady.

The gold oval frame does have a Victorian flair and the wrought iron fence certainly draws the viewer into your lair.
