I made this card for this week's Teapot Tuesday Challenge. Dr. Sonja is our hostess and she has chosen a wonderful theme of "What a Surprise" in honor of the approaching April Fool's Day. Each card is supposed to have some sort of popup feature or surprise. The outside of this card is very normal looking (see previous picture), then you open up the card and see this wonderful bouquet pop out at you.
This was such a fun challenge for me. The popup feature I created for the inside is something I have not done for 2-3 years so it was fun to revisit this technique. I found this video tutorial on youtube in case you are interested in making this popup bouquet: . Thanks for looking today! ~Karen.

That will truly be a surprise when opened. So so so so pretty, I love it. I saw a video about it too, not sure if it is the same one. It was by Gina K's daughter.

Your flowers on the inside are just as gorgeous as those on the outside. Magnificent job Sis . You always create beauty because it comes from the inside. ( lil pun) giggles !! I received one of these from Sis melody and I know from hers how gorgeous these are irl. I can image the surprise when whoever receives this beauty!!

Oh, how very pretty - and such a lovely surprise to find inside. I know they aren't as deep, but they remind me so much of freesias with that soft daintiness. DH used to love making this sort of pop-up. I must remind him!

Your card is incredible, both inside and out. It really is paper art with that popping up bouquet when the recipient opens the card. Beautifully colored and expertly constructed. A keepsake and a treasure.
