Sonja is the hostess for this month's Tickle a Teapotter challenge - you can find out all about it (and see the inspiration teapot) HERE.
Her fun teapot reminded me of this much-loved stamp - so I pulled him out and coloured him in similar colours.
The background was created by stamping the music in peacock feathers and the treble clef in grey. Then I sponged with Antique Linen. Stamped the harlequin on the base and again on white paper for colouring and fussy-cutting. Added a little foreground for him to stand on, and edged the panel with double-sided tape and gilding flakes.
The surprise inside can be seen HERE

Sabrina, I just love this! Your wonderful image has this fabulous court jester feel to it; especially with the subtle music stamping and the bold treble behind the jester. And those gilded edges- fantastic! You went all out Sabrina and it truly shows with this fantastic card! ~Karen.

This is just awesome and I like everything about this music themed card - that treble clef is gorgeous and your piccolo playing harlequin adds a bit of whimsy!

The way you applied the gilding flakes perfectly mottled to suit the harlequin piper is a stunning touch and that treble clef stamp is classic. I always deeply enjoy your talent.
