I did a journal page to participate in today's CAS challenge to feature your birth month flower. I drew my Lily of the Valley on watercolor paper in pencil. I then outlined in Elegant Writer calligraphy pen. I activated this ink with water to bleed into the bg. I used way too much ink and the bg got darker than I planned. I dried this then used a green elegant writer to bleed into the leaves. Once these dried I then used green colored pencils to define the leaves and stems. I used a white Sharpie paint pen on the flowers and outlined with black gel pen. I added some accents with a Micron pen. I used blue colored pencils on the bg and edges and used my gel pen to write the name of my flower. On my journal page, I very loosely wrote Scripture verses in pencil and added a black piece behind my image panel. I used some chalk ink on the edges of my page.
