Todayâs Technique Challenge was to build a wreathe and the CAS Challenge was to use our birthday month flower. I am a July baby, so my flower is Larkspurs, which I have apparently managed to avoid discovering for neigh on 68 years! I had to look up images to see what color they are. They are really quite pretty. I have an almost twenty year old set that has a small image of each monthâs birthday flower along with the flower name and month. I lightly hand drew a pencil circle and then stamped the flower omitting the wording, until I completed the wreath. I colored the images with colored pencils and then used markers to fill with some leaves and dots. I stamped and cut out the bow and popped that up on the wreath, stamped a greeting and added a small strip of Gingham paper and some additional bits of the flower sprig.

Great mix of old and new sets to create your pretty birthday wreath. The stamped bow is lovely, and easier for mailing than a real one. It goes well with your gingham strip, too.

Kathy this is just lovely and the stamped bow is an awesome addition. I like that extra bit of foliage gracing both your sentiment & the bottom border.
