This is one of the cards I made as a sample for the TLC this week; you'll be able to find the challenge HERE.
I started by stamping the pinecones in Gathered Twigs. Then I stamped the holly and ivy from All Season Wreath in black, and coloured all the leaves in green. Used the smack down technique (see TLC639) to frame outside it (and stamped a bit of speckle with Gorgeous Grunge inside) and then sponged a bit of colour in. I was going to add a sentiment in the centre but then went for this owl. After colouring him with pencils, I added some contouring from the back with a stylus and used a little thin foam tape. Glossy Accents on his beak and the red berries. Edged it with brown stitching and called it done.

I love owls and I love this wreath with the owl as the centerpiece, Sabrina! I also love using a stylus to give images some dimension! Great card, Sabrina!

I feel like I'm looking deep into the woods with the lighter airier foliage around the outer edge of the card and the heavier pinecone wreath as a window to the center of this owl's world. The feather stitching around the edge is a lovely addition!

My goodness Sabrina, I was drawn to this card immediately when I saw it in the gallery. I adore owls and this one sitting center stage in this wonderful wreath of pinecones, berries and greenery is fabulous! I also love all the soft stamping you did on the outer edges of the card and the stitching add such a lovely touch reminding me of an owl's foot prints. I am amazed! ~Karen.

What a wonderful Fall wreath, Sabrina. I love the browns and touches of color with the orange on the leaves and RED berries. YOur feather stitching around the edges is such a fab addition! My grandmother used to use that stitch all the time on baby clothes, and she taught me to use it too.

I missed this card, and I totally love it. What a fab wreath and how cool you put in owl in it. I am so into owls after a trip to the zoo for a birthday party (one of my Grandson's). They had an educational time at the party and brought out the most gorgeous owl - it was amazing and they gave us a lecture on its body and habits. They are the coolest birds and totally beautiful. I am rambling but I wanted you to know how much I love this. Hugz
