This is for this weeks tea-party. Bit late, got "Monkeyin' around" too long...:0)
Thhis is a new set to me so not something old, but the card base if from a box of cards I bought a few years ago to use a bases and saved, and keep forgetting to use. so I brought them out again and now have a goal to use them up.
Otherwise I sponged the grass, ( was gong to die-cut it then when I went to get some green paper the part cut out was there so I thought I would try using it as a stencil...worked great. softly sponged the bg and added a few vine stamps, to make it more Jungly looking. Was fun, these lil guy are cute.
Off to see the fun gallery....thanks for the visit...:0)

I love cards that make me smile and feel happy, and this one is right up there 'Sis' Wanda. Your monkeys are adorable and I love the jungle you created for them. Kim is going to be tickled pink for sure! Big hugs to you and de Mama.

Adorable card! I love your background, great use of an already-die-cut scrap!

Negative die-cuts are great stencils - I have a grass one on my desk that I use all the time. I really like your stamped vines in the background behind the die-cut ones, they really add depth to your sweet scene.
