Card for Teapot Tuesday challenge, Wide Open Range. We are supposed to add horses to our cards...I looked & looked, no horse stamps in my collection! So I hope the recipients will enjoy this Southwest Sunburst instead.
Pretty straight forward--created the watercolor panel in sunset shades, from light to dark. Used texture paste with the stencil to create the sunburst. Stamped the sentiment onto More Mustard CS, tore the edges of the panel & sponged them with Choc Chip ink. Tore the edges of the purple CS panel, & sponged them also. Sponged the edges of the watercolor panel, & adhered to the top-folded card base. Looped a piece of the hemp cord onto the main panel, & popped the sentiment panel over it with dimensionals.
A fun, but messy project! TFL!

You bet they'll love it, Liz. I just may adopt it for your FS party. It's artfully glorious and very uplifting and encouraging. Thanks for joining the party and being a part of the healing. There's always a seat at the table.

The messiest creations are the best hey Liz. This looks fabulous and I bet it looks even more special in real life. The entire gallery for Sandy and Dave is great and I'd say this will be front and centre!

This is really spectacular Liz! The colors are so nice and rich and they sure showcase your embossing paste sunburst perfectly. I cannot tear paper to save my soul and you have done it so beautifully here. This sentiment is fantastic and is the perfect complement to this gorgeous card. The recipients will be thrilled with this beauty you made for them! ~Karen.

Awesome southwestern sunburst and I feel the warmth. Love the sentiment, also.

Oh, my, Liz! I'm so impressed with this piece of art! The background colors with the sunburst are amazing. The way the sentiment is encased is remarkable and appears to be a book. I love this card, Liz!
