Pat is our hostess for this week's MMTPT556 Old School challenge. We are to use sock monkeys (see the challenge to find out why!) or go old school with our supplies. No sock monkeys here, except a couple of little knitted ones for the Christmas tree, so I pulled out a couple of my older stamps and my definitely old chalks.
Stamped the scroll background in Versamark and added the chalks with an applicator. Stamped and coloured the little kitty. I used a brad in the centre of her bow, in the corner of the frame and as a dot on the "j". I also added some Liquid Pearls in the frame on the cat portrait, and doodled a frame on the black card base. I would guess that the stamps and the chalks are both over fifteen years old. The brads - that's anyone's guess!!

Like me, you have lots of old supplies to choose from! Love your chalks, and the brads. I had forgotten about doodling, but that is definitely a blast from the past. However maybe we should bring it back, because it looks great on this card!

I haven't used my chalks in ages...I remember when those were the big thing. I love how you did the bg and that image is super cute and I'm not a cat person. Great doodling and framing, too ;0

Wonderful chalk bg for your cute kittie image, Sabrina, terrific doodling and I love the brads you have used! I have decided to leave my collection of brads out so that I use them more - I have some quite pretty ones~
