I'm hosting this week's Mix-Ability challenge and this is one of my samples! I filled my grid by filling in whole rows across the panel with watercolor, letting the panel dry, and then crossing over those areas with paint in the other direction after they dried. The whole panel is splattered with diluted white craft paint. I used this die from Sizzix, stacked several times for depth.

I liked the idea of letting the colours mix. I have an old Club Scrap stamp with overlapping circles and squares that I sometimes do that with - but I think for a big background I'd want to experiment first. I really like the colours in this, they have a softness that almost looks like vellum, or a sheer finish. Beautiful.
