Well - Susie beat me to it by using the Aussie Paper Rose die for her wonderful card.
Change of plans.
I have had this image stamped and ready for colouring for ages. I think it is an Impression Obsession stamp and I will check it and update if necessary. The image is coloured with watercolour pencils, watercolour paints and Dylusions paint pens.
Stamped the hessian (burlap)background to give a country feel to the card. The background is a gelli plate print. Finished it off with a rope knot.
The horses are darker in colour in real life - hope they past muster as I am not used to colouring horses.
Hope you enjoy.

There are two things I know will happen when I look at one of your wonderful creations Helen, the first is that I know I will love it and the second is I know it will cost me money LOL. Your horses look terrifc and beautifully coloured and that hessian stamp is brilliant. I love this to bits.

Gorgeous and beautifully colored. I also like that rope knot to finish off your card.

I'm sure you and Susie would have made quite different cards and it wouldn't have mattered if they'd got the same cowboy twice (although it would have been noticeable that they had both travelled from AU). But this is fab - the stamped burlap looks just super and I love the rich colours and very arty look of the horses. Nice rope knot!

SO much to love! YOU, Helen, for sharing your time and talent with my family to aid in their healing is #1. Your horses are awesome and depicts this couple's love for each other, for better, for worse Sandy's a blond and Dave's a brunette. How perfect is that? Sandy came for a visit last summer and she did her 1st gel prints with me, so that's very special, too. They are going to love all the textures. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Wowza the coloring on this image is amazing and I love the image too. I am sure Sandy and Dave will just love getting this terrific card in the mail. Thank you so much for playing along.

That is a fabulous image and I'd definitely say your coloring of the horses passes! The burlap looks perfect with them, as well as that cool knot. Love the vibrant color in your background, too!
