I had some unexpected spending money - and when I have that, I like to use it to get things that aren't normally catered for in my budget. Lavinia stamps certainly fell into that category, something I really like but wouldn't use enough to justify buying from my regular budget. And I can see there's going to be a steep learning curve in using them - but once I'd added a little chalk to soften my badger, DH liked this so it's not a total fiasco.
I tried my version of Susie's smack and squirt - too frugal to throw out all that tin foil each time, so I put my inks on a glass mat, and spritzed as for wrinkle-free distress but used Susie's method of applying with a sponge to the card. Stamped my tree and coloured it with pencil. The leaves are from a Kittie Kit, and I used three or four different greens. Stamped the blossoms, coloured with pencils and sparkled up with SN clear glitter. Stamped the flower meadow in Smokey Grey across the foreground. Added the pieced in badger.
Added the moon rays with Delicata silver which didn't show enough, so I brushed Perfect Pearls all over them, and then stencilled some stars in to where the moon should be. Added the sentiment, and then stamped a few random stars into the the rays. Finally sponged some extra blue round the edges and added it to a black base with doodled border.

Oh, I love this scene, Sabrina. You certainly made a masterpiece. I love the sun rays in the beautiful sky. The florals and tree are gorgeous and the background for the wonderful badger is perfect. Love the doodled border! Great card!

It is a great scene with just a touch of the magic instilled with the lavinia stamps. Really like how you did the tree and the coloring on the badger so it just glows a bit.
