This is my card for CC730. Karen is our hostess and she has chosen bermuda bay, crushed curry, night of navy and poppy parade for her color palette. Dessert Option this week is feathers.
I just got this new Rooster Stamp and thought it would be a good time to use it. I colored it with a combination of Stampin' Blends and Copic markers.
I masked it then stamped the wheat background in crushed curry ink.
My layout this week is using the new Mojo sketch #511. It has lots of layers- just what I like in a sketch.
My background paper is from the Stampin'-Up "floral boutique" collection. On the small rectangle panel I used the SU gorgeous grunge stamp set and then added my "hugs phrase".
The horizontal rectangle panel is embossed with the SU "Seaside" embossing folder. I finished off my card my adding 3 night of navy enamel dots.
Hope you can play along with us this week. Karen has chosen some great colors. We cant wait to see the gallery alive with color and your creativity this week.

I wondered how many saleabration roosters would strut their stuff with these colors and feathers for dessert....haha - but it's so fun to see how different they all still look.....yours is beautiful!! Love it Mary!!

What a wonderful card, Mary. I know you're happy that Mojo Monday sketches have returned. I recognized the current one as soon as I saw your card. I love the way you translated it into this week's colors. Love the coloring on the rooster, too!

Today's colors are perfect for a rooster....and what a handsome one you colored, Mary. The bg is like "chicken scratches" which seems so apropos. Distinctive looking card.
