It took me a long time to get this card together. I had decided to try for two A's on this card...colour (Almost Artichoke) which I had in craft stampin' craft ink spot, marker and chalk pastels. And of course Anniversary. And I could not find a single stamp in my collection that said happy anniversary! I'm sure I have at least one somewhere, but couldn't find it. So I finally solved that one by playing around with my computer and printing it out on cardstock. I used a masking technique so that I could get the ink sponged onto the main image without going outside the lines. i also used masking for the license plate and popped it up a bit. For the passengers, I used a few of the figures from the SU set, but then filled in the rest of the head with hair so that it looked like seeing them from the back. I'm not perfectly happy with the arrangement of the elements in this card, but it took me so long that I don't want to start all over right now. Maybe in future I'll do a better version.

Welcome Elaine! Great card with the adorable little love bug! It reminds me of the 60's when lots of people had "afros" (I don't know if that term is politically correct, I don't mean to offend anyone). Love all those little hearts flying out of the bug!

What an absolutely delightful anniversary card this is! My parents dated in a Volkswagon Beetle and it was their first car as a married couple. I remember riding in the back seat 88 miles to my grandparent's home with my sisters in the back with me. It was a tight fit, but we all loved that car. I have said many times, there are some cards that are so difficult to make it is like pulling a tooth without Novocaine (sigh). However, the end result is just delightful! ~Karen.
