I took a very unlovely gel print to use for the die-cut skyline. First of all I stamped the Cherry Pie Art London skyline and coloured it with a grey pencil; then stencilled the map background in grey and a little yellow. Stamped the script stamp in brown - maybe Archival Coffee? Added some stars, sponging in more yellow for depth. Looked through my sentiments and chose this one. Popped the foreground die-cut up on foam, and then stitched the piece onto a background square - should have done this before adding the foam. It was nice to get the sewing machine out, it feels like a while since I did.

WOW...what an amazing card Sabrina! I love that you took an "unlovely" (polite way of saying ugly) gel print and using it for your skyline...it's brilliant! The stenciling of the map is fab...instead of the expected sky you get that awesome map with the script. You really had your artistic beret on today

So many great techniques on this Sabrina. I love the bg, the sentiment and those cool buildings. So well done! That sentiment is soooo true too. Many hugz
