It's no secret that one of my loves is dishware. I love everything from fine china to chunky pottery. I can't remember what I was looking for when I came across this week's Inspiration Site but as soon as I saw the banner I knew I had my site!
I chose THIS photo to inspire my design. Once again, I was inspired by not just one photo but all of the teacup photos!
I used Lydia's homemade gouache recipe: MIX314 to paint my wedgwood cup. I love how it feels when I run my fingers over it. Kind of like real wedgwood! For all the nitty gritty details check out my blog post HERE!
I hope you will join us and enter a card into the Inspiration Challenge!

How lovely, Angie! I remember seeing those blue pots w/ the white stripe. And I know just what you mean about how Wedgewood feels..I have a little vase & it does have that feel to it.

I knew what you had chosen for your inspiration straight away, Angie, and you have designed the most beautiful card using Lydia's technique. Love this!

Oh I am going to have to check out Lydia's homemade gouache recipe. This tea cup is so cute Angie and I can only image it IRL with the gouache. Great site and super card from your inspiration.
