I found this card from years ago right HERE and kept the concept of 3 cups along the card border. Everything else couldn't be much more different... from CAS to MAC (Messy and Complicated, ha ha)! I did not do mixed media cards back then!
Stamped cups using masking on a panel, then masked frame of cup so I could stamp the flowers, stamp "splat" stamps to "color the flowers in", and sponge the inside of cup, fussy cut the stack of cups
Card front: sponged 3 main colors, embossed the sentiment so it would stand out more, stamped front with some grunge stamps, splattered with ink and white acrylic paint, then sponged through a stencil (the ring images), and sponged with black around edges of card.
Adhered stack of cups with dimensional tape, added enamel dots, and white gel pen dots to the cups and flowers.

Well Maura, i am so glad that you expanded your interests to mixed media, because i always love your creations. This card is just fabulous with those gorgeous colors and patterns. The cups down the side look great with that amazing bg.
