I combined challenges today. Yesterday, I actually started a card for the SC but I trashed it, just wasn't working. But today's water challenge gave me an idea & here it is. The only thing I wish I would've done was sponge the edges of the birds. Oh well. I really didn't want to color this whole image either. I did a lot of masking & sponging & I used the sponge brayer for the first time on the back panel. It looks pretty cool but of course I covered it up! And, I flipped the sketch.
Thanks for your kind comments & for stopping by.

That's such a lovely image, I've been tempted to try to put together an order but I don't think I can swing it. It looks great like this, with the hint of sky colours in the background.

This is lovely, Karen. Has the feeling to me of one of the British Isles and the stone houses one sees. I like you limited coloring and your back panel with the sponge brayer(something new to me) is beautiful. A wonderful card.

Minimalism definitely works with this image and I like how you colored only the watery depths. From what I can see of your bg, you got a nice soft blend of colors from your brayer.
