So I thought retirement would mean more time for card making and all the other stuff, but that doesn't seem to be the way it works out. I have made several cards of for the last several weeks of challenges but between traveling and skiing (what a year it's been in the west) I haven't been very good about getting them posted. So finally making time tonight. I thought the TLC731 challenge was fun and gave me some ideas to use EBs that I've had for a while but have struggled to use. Like many folks, I made several iterations of this panel. The sky was hard to get good color so I ended up sponging a bit to fill in some areas. I brayed the grass in Crumb Cake for a more mute look. My "illusion is from a hero arts stamp. I added the die cut cattails for some additional detail but it may be too dark for the more muted look of the card. I edged the back panel with Fisker paper edge scissors. TFL

Very pretty. I don't use that folder neatly enough but I think this is at least the second card for the challenge that used it. I like the dawn feeling with the singing bird and soft colours.
