Picture this: I'm in my basement, looking through stamps, trying to decide what to do for today's challenges. I realize that I can't feel my feet anymore, as it's below zero outside and my basement is probably 30 something. I go put my boots on and go back downstairs. Eureka! I remember that I have an ice cube stamp that has never been kissed with ink. And a little snowman that can perch on top. All of a sudden, this card is about the Olympics of Winter. I embossed said ice cube and snowman (my first snowman card of the season!!!!) with white ep mixed with the glitter (couldn't get a good glittery picture). Mixed results with consistency of the glitter and ep, probably because of the temperature in my basement. I need some snarky winter sentiments but I thought this Irish blessing might fill the bill. Yes, it is sunny outside, I like that better than gray. We are finally at 1 degree. But I'll take all of this over what our friends in Alabama are dealing with. Thinking of you.

What a fun idea for a card! Sorry it's so cold there. Maybe some hot chocolate would help?

Glad I got out of there while it was still "warm". 20 degrees when my flight finally left. That's borderline not wearing a jacket weather! Love your "ode to the never ending winter". Very creative and fun!

Love the Irish blessing ... and your triplet of ice cubes.
Now while I am not in a basement, today and yesterday I have kept my faux wooly lined boots on all day ... inside, and am likewise covered in way too much clothing past preference. So I'm with you in spirit. And yes, praying for the tornado victims as well. Clever card!

Just wish we could have some of those ice cubes over here - in the melted form - rain. It is trying to rain at the moment - but not putting on much of a performance. I do love that Irish blessing it finishes the card off nicely.

I think I would take cold weather over the tornadoes too! Fun ice image and really fun blessing, Jean. Love the little snowman too. Great card. If my stamps were in a 30 degree basement they would have to stay there until Spring! Many hugz
