The MISTI Monday challenge this month was to make a card in monochromatic theme. I went with gold for this thank you card. I must say that I learned it is nearly impossible to fussy cut foil paper! The light catches and beams it right back into your eyes. So, the gold embossed fairy that I was trying to cut may have some interesting outlines that I was blinded from trimming. I like how the gold glitter paste heart adds texture and sparkle to compete with the shine of the other gold surfaces. I used the MISTI to perfectly align the placement of the sentiment. Another tip- use the embossing buddy de-static powder generously. The shiny surface makes it hard to keep the embossing powder under control. I guess with all the things I learned while making this card, the simplest part was that I could rely on my MISTI to handle her part perfectly.

Beautifully done! I love the framing of your card. It is so delicate and elegant. I think you did a wonderful job cutting out your fairy. It looks nice sitting next to the glittery heart. Nicely done.
