The challenge was to make a card using our birthstone color. Mine is garnet (Jan) and also the flower for Jan. is carnations. I did not have any carnation stamps so I tried to do the "ruffly" edges like carnations have, using the Bloom with Hope flower image with my markers.
I cased this from Cindy Schuster (Mar/2016) and just changed a few things. This is popped up using the scotchguard foam tape. Now I "need" to go shopping for some carnation stamps! tfl

How clever to make a flower to match your bday. I love the look of garnets! I have a pair of garnet earrings from my grandmother. Now to look up my own birth flower!!

What a wonderful card this is for your birth month of garnet. These garnet blooms are gorgeous; especially those dainty ones on the banner tag. How fun! I adore the green bg dsp and how you used this doily too! You have made a terrific card for this challenge Shirl. ~Karen.
