I only used one medium on my sketch but have metal and fabric on the art journal page. I spent the morning hanging out in another town and had no book or art supplies along. I stopped and picked up some index cards and a mechanical pencil and going from the sketch version of a photo of my granddaughter, I drew my little Evie. Today's Mixability Challenge is to be I spires by tin ceilings. I knew I had a big piece of the tin ceiling dp and I went with a kraft dp that reminded me of vintage tile floors. I scuffed this up with sandpaper. I used some cool vintage lace that I picked up at a thrift store and I made a piece of ceiling tile with an ef and a yogurt lid. Unfortunately I debossed instead of embossing so kept it shiny instead of adding pait and sanding off. I made a black backing piece for my sketch and the wrote my sentiment in pencil and fussy cut it. This little one lives only 20 miles away (unlike my grandson in Philadelphia 11 hours drive away) and I get to watch her one day a week.

Oh so darling!! Your sketch is fantastic but what a precious little subject you had. I appreciate your ingenuity in using various at hand materials. That tin tile turned out great and the lace is always a welcome addition to any art project. Love the kraft, too...an unexpected counterpart to the tin...fabulous!
