Jennifer McGuire did a video awhile back showing a technique she called "Die Impressions" using nesting dies to dry emboss:
I believe she used 140 lb. watercolor paper. I used 110 lb. Neenah solar white and had a problem with wrinkling as the last edge of the cardstock exited my die-cutting machine. I solved the problem by using a half sheet of cardstock and then cutting down to 4" X 5 1/4" at the end. I think the end result is worth the extra effort.

Wow! These are gorgeous and thanks for the tip about wrinkling! That was one of the main reasons I never liked this technique. Thanks to you...problem solved!!
