Anita is our hostess for this week's Teapot Tuesday challenge which you will find HERE. This week our cards are going to Hotwheels, for her to use in her card ministry. I mailed these off before work today - now I'm going to use another fun cup image and build my own stash up a bit.
I was spoiled for choice on this theme...of course I had to use the stamp Jacqueline gave me at Christmas, which I coloured while I was sick in bed. I used Polychromos pencils, and to finish the card off, I added a piece of white with an oval aperture. I embossed it and highlighted all the embossing with gold rub-on. The sentiment was sponged while still in the die.
For the other card, I stamped and embossed the background. Stamped the sentiment and cup, and stamped the cup again on a leftover piece - bubblewrap sprinkled with Brushos and stamped. I used that to piece the coffee cup. Again, it was sponged while still in the die, and I used Liquid Pearls for the cup handle.
I might make another card for my stash as I have yet another cup image which I'd love to use.

Very pretty cards Sabrina. I like how you added the dots to your teacup...cute idea. And the rubbed embossed bg looks fab! The coffee bg for the other card is great. I'm sure these will be loved by whoever uses them.
Fabulous! Right now I seem to be in a cup mode! I love cups and mugs! Yours are both so gorgeous! I keep looking at your coffee mug! It's so striking! I love the pretty little dots on the second cup! Both are beautiful!

love the contrast of these two cards. i don't have that stamp so no one has to worry about me copying anyone. it is a lovely stamp though. I haven't made a coffee or tea card in a while, i'm happy to do so. i love all the sayings on the first card. coffee is a food group.
