Judy is asking us to foil images for today's TLC challenge, but we can substitute if we don't have foil.
I said I would allow myself one attempt with Heat & stick, which turned into three but I got a piece I was happy to use on the third go. And DH will be home late, so I had time to make it before washing the floors...
I used Thoughts and Prayers, stamping with Versamark before adding the heat & stick powder. I always find it a very fine line between having it go tacky and going too far. I used some gilding flakes (the first time, the image came out fairly well but the flakes I'd used were a colourway which didn't look good). I added a simple sentiment and edged the panel with a gold pen. Added two gold butterflies and called it done.

I love the simple elegance of your card! I think the gilding flakes came out well--at least as they photographed. The rest of the card looks neutral enough that they really look good, imho. I totally agree with you about the sticky powder--one second too long with the heat & it's useless. But you nailed this design--tfs!

I love the colors in the foil! This turned out gorgeous. I tried one small piece with the heat and stick, but gave up and used my leftover pieces from previous foiling. Beautiful card!
