I am on a mission to use up leftovers and had started working on the back dp piece by crumpling and sponging. I also colored in the leaves with colored pencils. I had the bird sitting out (having used the branch part on a previous project) and then spied the blue gel print made with one of my mini gelli plates. When I saw today's challenge to use foil I remembered some foil sheets in my stash and decided to go with writing my sentiment with a glue pen. I also added a gold breat and eye to my bird then used a pencil to add wing and tail accents. My final add was to punch a coffee sleeve heart. I distressed and rolled some edges, being happy to see that the dp backside had some different colors.
My sentiment is from Psalm 40 and I have been singing it in my mind since yesterday. I love when artists put Scripture to song as it really sticks!!! There is a U2 song called 40 that is one of those really sticky songs.

Great work with your hand-written foiled sentiment, Gail. I like the bird perched on the script background, and love the pop of the red heart against the blue print.
