Our newest Featured Stamper is CraftyMerla (Sally). I happened upon her gallery earlier in the week as some of her recent uploads caught my eye. Thank You Strips. I loved the vivid patterns and colors in this dp. And lucky for me, I got to see how Sally had used the papers in the OSW technique.
Things I kept were the layout, a single word, and the same striping. What I changed was: used Washi tape from Cavallini for my strips and word.
My JOY was embossed with Rangers' pretty new Mixed Media powder. I used 'Hammered'. It is chunky with bits in the mix. This one came out very coppery and dimensional. Anyone else used it?
Sally, I had fun pursuing your gallery. You have lots of interesting and practical cards made with the One Sheet Wonder. Enjoy your week! Thanks for stopping by today.

I really must use my washi tape like this - I currently use it to hold down my dies! Card packs for gifts would be amazing with a design like this - love it.

Goodness, what a fun way to use washi tape! I am impressed with the vintage French look of this wonderful card. I agree, the rustic cardbase is perfect for your vintage washi tape. You have made a wonderful card based on Sally's lovely inspiration card. ~Karen.

GREAT use of washi, and I love your embossed JOY. Thanks for sharing the details - I haven’t ventured into the Ranger world for a while now. They are always coming out with amazing things! Happy Day! Lela

Washi is one of my favorite things, have a whole bag of it, should use it more. my life is full of 'shoulds'. need to stop that. the message here is very clear: feel joy! Another good reminder.
