To make the BG, I spritzed the WC paper with water and then just laid torn up shades of pink, red, purple and blue bleeding tissue paper on top. Spritzed it again with more water and ran a brayer over it. Embossed it with a cross-stitched heart EF and highlighted the raised parts with white Veramagic ink. Mounted a sweet vintage Valentine with clear photo corners.

Oh very clever for your BG and super colors you used too. The vintage image works well with the embossed hearts too. Thank you so much for playing along.

Does all tissue paper bleed or is it a special one? I remember from my childhood that most crepe papers certainly bled!! You created a beautiful distressed background for your vintage sweethearts.
