I started off trying the bokeh tissue paper bg but it was a disaster....I only had printed tissue in addition to white so it turned out too cluttered looking. So I went with the tissue paper watercolor technique and had more luck with that. I used distress oxide inks and added some perfect pearls to give it some shimmer.

It's cold and snowy here and your card is a breath of spring! Love the framing mat for the scripture and the pretty die cut flowers, perfect with your marvelous bg.

Wow, these colors are incredible. I love that scripture from Isaiah which adds beautiful words to this very lovely card.

I really like the light, bright sunny feel this has. Sorry to hear you had trouble with the tissue paper bokeh, which I've been hoping to try when I can rustle up some coloured papers - or make time to colour my own. But this is a beautiful addition to the gallery.
P.s. I think it was more boredom than addiction ;-). No television to while away the hours, and reading requires mental energy!

Oh Polly this did turn out great! Love the colors you used and the layout works well to not take away from the tissue base. Thank you so much for playing along.

Ah, all that lovely green! Your bg looks fantastic, Polly, so much interest, and I love the die cut flowers and sentiment on the doily! You nailed this technique.
