This is my card for CC725. Stef is our hostess and she has chosen night of navy, blushing bride, vanilla and a metallic of your choice. Dessert Option this week is a die cut or punched element.
I still need Valentine cards so the challenge for me was can I make one using these non-valentine colors. I think I was successful.
My background hearts are from the Blooming Hearts cutting plate from Taylored Expressions. I cut it out twice- once in night of navy and then a second time in the pink. I used the die inlay technique and added a few pink hearts.
The large scalloped heart and puppies are a die from CottageCutz. I used neutrals of grays and browns for the puppies. The boy puppy collar is cut in merry merlot (a new neutral) from Stampin Up.
For the metallic option, I used an ivory metallic cardstock for my card base.
