I had a play date scheduled for last night with a stamping buddy to find ways to use up scraps, so yesterday's Free for All Challenge was perfect for us!
This is one of 4 cards that I did. It started with a pile of narrow strips that I had sitting on my stamp table. I was showing my friend that you can create background paper from them. I attached these so that the hung over a narrow strip of CS. Than I clipped them with scissors at different lengths and angles. I sorted through one of my scrap boxes and found this cute water colored fox image with the bright blue bird on his head. I cut him out then die cut a piece from the Eclectic Framelits Die. I used an old Impressions plate to add texture to the vanilla panel and then distressed that with ink and a small stamp from the Artisan Textures set. I die cut a greeting and added some small hearts from my scrap bin.
