Happy New Year TeaPotters. And thanks to the guest hostess for selecting Frank Lloyd Wright's work. I bring no building, windows, or furniture today...my bad! But I do bring a quote from the architectural genius.
The trick is to grow up without growing old.
I needed to explore these words. For I find myself growing old, but in my heart of hearts, I'm the girl with the big bow in her hair and the Mary Janes on her feet. I'm dancing to my own music and finding Peace with the rhythm of life.
I wish for us all to keep on growing...
PS...I have two left feet.

This makes my face and heart smile!!! What a wonderful take on the challenge. I love your attitude Susan and the way you transfer it to paper. Your cards have attitude and excitement. I have these two Chickies and never in a million years would I have thought to put them together. Keep on dancing, the world needs more left feet like yours my friend. Love it!!!!

Susan, for some reason this brought tears to my eyes. I guess because I am like you - I am still that fun young girl inside who wants to dance and do silly things. The world doesn't accept it though - they just think I am kind of crazy. I get lots of looks these days. I guess I should start wearing purple and get a hat!
Love your card - it is wonderful, deep, and so well done. Hugz

Susan I love how you think! This is delightful....the juxtaposition of the younger and older dancer is inspired! I love the German scrap embellishments.

What a way to start my day! Tears keep welling up. Oh, one just fell. Lot's of emotions about mothers, grandmothers, aging, love and spirit. Lucky are those who click on your card today and are touched by your art. I want to frame this.
