I really wanted to participate in the Featured Stamper Challenge for Victoria/Hawaiian, but was unable to at the time, so I am entering my cards late. This worked out rather well for me because I really want to build up my stash of Christmas cards for next Christmas and when I saw this beauty in Victoria's beautiful gallery, I just had to make a few cards using this overall design: Hawaiian_ Merry Christmas Gold by Hawaiian at Splitcoaststampers. To make the snowflake, I took Kromekote paper, sprinkled color burst powder over the paper, then spritzed it with water. I set this piece aside to dry while working on the rest of the card. Once the piece was dry, then I die cut the large snowflake from it. There are lots of colors to this snowflake in real life that the camera simply cannot pick up, unfortunately. Victoria, I want you to know I so enjoyed going through your gorgeous gallery and I have bookmarked several items as Favorites too. I had so much fun making this card and it never would have been made had it not been for your gorgeous Christmas card that inspired me. Love and hugs sis! ~Karen.
