Thank you, sweet Benzi, for selecting a great site for the Inspiration Challenge yesterday. I struggled with selecting one photo as there are so many wonderful ones from which to select. After browsing the site a lot yesterday, I decided on this photo of a sitting room. I love the colors in the photo and tried to represent them in the image on my card.
I wanted the image to be the main focus on the card; therefore, I stamped some pine trees in a light gray for the background after masking the image. I colored the image with various blue and green Copic Markers. To finish the card, I added some stamped text and die cut the I Love You sentiment.
This card will be in the hands of my precious granddaughter, Mikayla (4-yrs old), tomorrow! If I haven't shared before, I have a new granddaughter, Sarah. Her name was selected by Mikayla, who also wanted Sarah's middle name to be the same as hers. She was granted her wish! Both girls are so very precious to their Nana!
Thanks so much for stopping by! I greatly appreciate any comments!

First, congratulations on the precious new granddaughter. You couldn't ask for anything better. I love your card and was thinking the little girl reminds me of my granddaughter. Your colors are great....so pretty and I love the trees stamped lightly in the background. You've made a beautiful scene.
