Lyn is today's hostess for the TLC and she's challenging us to use some Envelope Art today.
This would have been much quicker if I hadn't decided a) to make my own envelope and b) to make a card to go with it - but luckily I'd got a lot of the housework done yesterday and only had the floors to wash when I got home from work.
Used some old 12x12 to make the envelope. Used one of my printer labels as a guide where to position the cat, and stamped it, and the text. Coloured the cat, doodled round the flower petals.
Image stamped on card base. Masked image and edges and stencilled the grass and stamped the flowers. Removed masks, coloured everything. Too CAS for my taste but at least the envelope dresses it up a bit.

What a perfect duo, Sabrina!! These kitties are so adorable, and I love how you created your envelope from designer paper and then stamped right on it! The person who receives this card and envelope is sure to be tickled pink!

Oh my gosh, this turned out so cute! When I first saw your photo, I thought the image to the left was an inspiration piece (commercially made) for your darling kitty card on the right. After reading, I discover the item on the left is an envelope you made with flower DP and your own stamping creation. Just wow!!
Im admiring your coloring on the kitties, all done with colored pencils. Well done!
Wow, Sabrina!!! This is a fabulous set! That envelope!!! Wow! Mine looks pretty flat next to this! You know I am smitten with the card! Such a CUTE cat and it's CAS too!

I love both the card and the envelope! The cats are so stinking cute! The envelope reminds me of the magazine page envelopes I used to make in high school!

Gotta love those kitties! How clever is that to add your kitty to the envelope pattern of flowers. Love your card with its sweet kitty and background flowers and butterfly. Lovely colors together!
