This is my A card for the A to Z swap I joined. I used alcohol inks on Yupo to create the front layer. When the inks were good and dry, I stamped the images with Memento Black over the ink. In the land of the midnight sun, colors can reflect from the water and ice and change the way eyes perceive common animals/objects. One thing I learned today was that if you stamp imperfectly(as I do so many times) on the alcohol ink/Yupo combo you can remove the ink using a baby wipe. It leaves a ghostlyimpression of the image but lets you restamp. I have watched too many documentaries on the Arctic not to giggle at my ghostly icebergs and their image in this card. Sentiment was hand lettered and from my addled brain.

What a beautiful card. I was wondering why the ink didn't also get wiped off, but I guess the baby-wipes must be the alcohol free ones! Wish the same trick worked on glossy card.

You've really captured the icy cold of the north! Love your polar bear. Your hand lettered sentiment is wonderful! I certainly don't have the courage to hand letter anything! :-)
