WT723 = I Hereby Resolve - make a card using a New Year's resolution
I used two resolutions - to use more of my decorative paper stash and to make 10 Christmas cards a month.
I have several sheets of this lovely dp sitting in my drawer and it really should be used! I cut a piece of it into four squares, each 2.25", and glued them to a red cardbase.
I stamped and heat embossed my sentiment on cream cs and die cut it into a circle, and bordered it with a larger circle cut from the same cs as the card base.
I die cut a green holly wreath, glued it over the dp and partially overlapping the red circle. Used lots of red stick-on pearls to embellish it with berries.

That paper is indeed beautiful. And I thought you'd added a wonderful twist to what is one of my few go-to layouts, but now I see that the red is laid over the squares - so it is my classic favourite layout. It looks fab, perfect with the wreath and simple sentiment.

Such a pretty card, Susan. I love the wreath and those "berries" look real. I need to make that resolution about making 10 Christmas cards a month.

I love the way this turned out!!! The DP actually looks hand stamped, so if you don't tell anyone......LOL!
I didn't make any resolutions so I wouldn't feel bad when I break them, but I have encouraged myself to go back to a plan from a few years ago, to make one Christmas card every day until I have enough for next Christmas. Ten a month seems much more reasonable!!
