Every year I promise myself that I will re-join the merriment on the Jingle Belles blog (https://jinglebellesrock.blogspot.com) and make cards for their bi-weekly challenges, and every year I fail to do so (ah, life - it's just so daily!) I'm attempting to keep that promise this year so - even though I'm posting at the eleventh hour - I actually made a card for the first challenge: "No Time Like the Presents", to use wrapping paper or a gift tag left over from the holidays to make a card. I fell in love with this copper-and-white paper, so of course it had to be on a card! I also took my Tim Holtz dies for a test run (first time I've used them since I bought them this past fall). Yeah, that's about all I have to say about that... Come join the fun! A new prompt will be posted this Friday!

Darn, why did you have to demonstrate how super those funky florals look. I kept telling myself I didn't need them. The copper looks warm and rich and just gorgeous.

You had me at copper, I'm like a magpie for that metallic! What a stunning card Sue and you used wrapping paper for the background, it's totally gorgeous. Love this idea, thank you for the great inspiration!

Oh my goodness, is this ever lovely! The white on the copper background is stunning - so unexpected for a Christmas card, yet so undeniably classic. Beautiful! Thanks so much for sharing!

Sue, this is so lovely! Great colors and details. I know how those card resolutions go - I say every year I am going to get my Christmas cards done early but I never seem to do it! Beautiful card.
