This card is for the January Misti Monday challenge. The challenge was to use Kraft and Black (either paper or ink).
I love to see black on kraft cardstock and decided to make a simple sympathy card. Unfortunately my stamping slipped and thank goodness for my black journalling pen to cover it up. All was not lost.
It was only after I had stamped the sentiment that I realised that it had the same dreamy look as the flowers. This was clear embossed after stamping to make it pop.
TFL. Happy day

Lovely sympathy card. I like how the stamped image and the font on the sentiment goes so well together. The black on the kraft looks awesome. Great job! TFS

Jayne this is a perfect sympathy card. I would never have thought to combine black ink and kraft card for a sympathy card - it looks great. It would also be suitable for a man (the live man, not the dead one). Your penmanship is brilliant...I can't see where you did it, good job mate!

Those thistles do have a very dreamy quality.
