 | | Thank you Angie, for such eye candy this week in the Paper Source link! Soooo many cool choices. And once again the Cavallini products...I must confess to having several Tea Towels in my possession! But tonight it was this Couple Chairs Invitationthat caught my eye. I needed a hip hip hooray card to encourage someone at work. 3 Chairs to {U}.
My card is a case of derck's Happy Birthday by derck. I loved her layout, changed it to only 3 patterned strips, used a rectangle instead of a circle, keeping the basic design. The chairs were paper pieced from the Marrakech Basic Grey as well as the strips. I used the Flourishes hip hip hooray as well as a quote inside regarding what chairs do for us by Thoreau:
A house needs these chairs:
Ones for solitude,
Ones for friendship and
Then those for society!
I have way too many chairs in my house, my garden, my stamp collection...but I'd like to think I'm ready for whoever knocks on my door...thanks for stopping by and always...your comments are a gift!
