I CASEd this card from one that inspired me on Pinterest. The closest I could come to a source, was a reference to Paperlicious, but sadly, the link didn't go anywhere, so I don't have more info than that. I used plain white cardstock, cut to A2 size. Then I took a piece of the same cardstock, cut to fit the front panel of the card, and used a stencil, distress inks and a blending brush for the design. I then used the Cricut to cut a scalloped shape across the panel, and trimmed the piece to fit the card, leaving a space in the middle. I stamped the "hello", then mounted the two pieces with dimensional foam from Dollar Tree. (A big roll for a dollar!) Then I stamped the "sunshine". The only thing that bugs me about this card is the clunky exclamation point that came from a different font set than the word sunshine. It looks clunky to me. Other than that, I'm happy with this card, it was fun to make.

Terrific! Love the stenciled background. I like how you cut the panel in two, separated the pieces and stamped the sentiment in the gap. Nice card! TFS

You have made a wonderful gap card here. The stenciling is really beautifully done and in such a pretty color. I am not quite sure how you used your cricut to do the scalloped part, but I sure like the end result. Welcome to uploading cards to Splitcoasters- this is a wonderful community of incredibly creative people. I look forward to seeing more of your work in the future. ~Karen.
