Today's Featured Stamper is dani114 and she has such a fun gallery full of bright and bold colors and fun cards! It was hard to choose, but I found that this one really inspired me. I was inspired to finally get out my intricate Mickey Mouse die. I bought it on clearance at Hobby Lobby, but it's not the kind of thing I enjoy working with, so I hadn't tried it out yet. I also really liked the "Life is good" die cut that Kathy used and I was inspired to make a cut file that was a similar style. Mine says "Good Luck" because this card is going to a friend that is heading to Disney next weekend to run her first marathon. I designed this in the Brother ScanNCut Canvas program using the "Chemy Retro" font that I got from The Hungry JPEG. What's nice about the ScanNCut Canvas program now is that you can make patterns with any font that you have on your computer. By the way, if you have a ScanNCut and want me to send you the fcm file to use, I'd be happy to. I also liked the black background of Kathy's card and I dug around in my DP and found this cute star paper. I can't say I enjoyed putting this Mickey Mouse together, but I do like the end result.

This is wonderful, Jen! The things you do w/ that scan n cut! I wish I knew how to do that stuff. I only have Cricut & it barely gets used. And I even bought the software to do the "other" stuff, but I've never tried it.

What a fun card, what a thoughtful friend you are, and what a great CASE! I hear you on the intricate die thing - I did five sugar skulls for a Dia de las Muertas banner for one of my daughters and it took f..o..r..e..v..e..r! Totally worth it, though - I love this!

I know someone who did that marathon, actually I think it was more than one race. I think it's called the Dopey or something like that. She got some cool medals. Your friend will love your card.
