ABC10T19: the letter is T and I have a number of delightful trees on this. Some are more difficult to see as they are stamped in the background.
I followed France Martin's wonderful tutorial to make this dimensional card. I watercolored Soft Sky on the upper part of the panel and stamped several of the trees from Lovely as a Tree in a couple of colors. I colored my ice rink with two colors of blue watercolor pencil giving the variation in color and then covered it with Crystal Effects. I think my Crystal Effects is too old!
After letting that dry overnight, I added texture paste for snow around the rink. I cut the three die cut evergreen trees apart so that I could use them separately and added them to the texture paste. I added paste to the trees randomly and then sprinkled dazzling diamonds glitter on top of the paste.
After letting it dry, I glued it to a bravo burgundy panel and then added that to a white card base.
What a fun card to make! Thank you, France, for the fun tutorial!
Thanks for looking!

Absolutely gorgeous and magnificent Sis Catherine. I been wanting to try Franchies tutorial as well. Just need to wait till I get some of that paste. By the time I do I’ll be overwhelmed and over flowing with ideas then which almost always end up not getting done because of the undecided factors lol goofy I know but I am what I am as Popeyes would say lol

I saw this technique, but this is the first card I've seen made using it, and it's a Beauty! Your ice rink is so shiny and quite realistic! I like the surrounding woods....reminds me of a pond I used to skate at growing up~

Wow, I've never heard of this technique! Great scene and beautiful ice skating rink! We had a rink right across the street from where I grew up and I was there every night until my toes froze!!!

Wonderful diecut trees and stamped trees, which I can definetly see in the background, which really gives this dimenstion. Love what you did with France's tutorial, Catherine. What a great icy looking rink!
