Don't want to bore those of you who have read about our British Sunbeam Tiger sports car....so you can skip this next part of the description.
They are called "Tigers" because the powerful V-8 engine in these small cars have a deep throaty "roar". We belong to a national club, Tigers East/Alpines East, and have made many dear friends and fellow enthusiasts through the years. I make them cards for their birthdays and try to depict their individual cars on the card....usually with a tiger theme.
I found this great tiger image on the internet and printed it for the bg. The car is raised on foam and was colored with Copics.

A super card! I was expecting that this challenge would suit you for one of your fellow Tiger lovers. We never had any classic cars but I remember my dad helping at least two friends out with theirs over the years. You're right, lots of maintenance and love.

Sallie, thank you for the explanation again. As I was first looking at your card I was trying to remember the details about your sport car, so I was glad to read about it again : ) Your shared interest with your husband and friends sounds like so much fun. I love the gorgeous tiger image you've incorporated behind the classic car.

Fabulous bg image for your little Tiger that roared! So glad you added the explanation or I for one would have been totally in the dark as to the significance of the car with the tiger.

What a connection, Sallie and what fun. That is one magnificient tiger. I remember the Sunbeams, but I didn't know how powderful their engines were. I had a '73 MGB convertible in that classic yellow. Did I ever think I was something, ha.
