Happy Tuesday. This is for today's sketch challenge - SC730.
I created the background using the honeycomb stencil, sponged on barely banana. Stamped the ferns on with old olive and certainly celery, coloured in the leaves. I stamped an additional fern and cut it out, popped it up. Stamped the dragonfly and coloured it with purple copic marker and cut it out with the die cut. Added crystal effects to the eyes and liquid pearl to the body. I cut the stencil panel to fit the sketch layout. Stamped on the sentiment with memento black ink. Sewed edges, then I coloured the edge with yellow copic marker. Popped up the dragon fly.
Thanks for looking,
Hugs, Pat

Wow! Is this ever striking! I love the stenciling on top and the gorgeous dragonfly coming out of the ferns on the bottom. The piercing details really complement this wonderful card design. ~Karen.

I love dragonflies! You've truly captured the way the wings look in the sunlight. Great background with the stencilling and the overlapping ferns along the bottom. Beautiful card!

Pat I have not seen your cards in a long time, I hope to see more of you. I love the way you arranged these leaves under the dragonfly. Of course your dragonfly steals the show!!
